Spotty Jogger: The Newer and Older Side of the Line
Most of this material has gone unshared... sort of a process of continually starting finishing (or not) projects that turn in on themselves. Very short lives, and competing logics at hand. I thought I would dedicate a post to memory jogging (as spotty as it may be).

(LISTED: MOST CURRENT [YESTERDAY] to OLDEST) (EDIT//not really)
Working through ideas for a series of films/theater pieces. Also looking for interested parties to act in recurring role... as well as those with technical knowledge in editing, cinematography, grips, technicians.. etc. Everything is in its infancy, and still working with and through the material, but it's never too early to put the possibility into the digital ether, is it?
Anyhow, I will begin with character listings and anticipated roles when they are more developed.
Please contact me if you are in any way interested, and in the Los Angeles area.
Very vague sketches...
There are more notes to accompany the previous image, however, as I said the legs of the project are still in the process of development.
And here we go further back...
still working on (always coming back to):
Exceprts from Thought Structures and Other Musical Ideas (Unpublished Manuscript) [T.S.A.O.M.I.]

And from T.S.A.O.M.I. emerged Uniform Ensemble, the notes for which I recently took the time to document and catalogue, in part. It is an empty room whenever and wherever. A personal experience upon request and booking.
An excerpt from performance-"Right Now".
Exemplary Beings
Then there were these forms, which were more explorations into composition, music concrete, passions for Lachenmann, Lucier, Skaters, John Wiese, Beat Furrer, Unsuk Chin, (etc.)and shitty backyard field/tape recordings.

Diary of the Sun Across your Desert Mind (Side A)

Had a most strange/wonderful opportunity to be apart of the Pacific Standard Time, BALL OF ARTISTS initiative/show with my work, Head Theater. The work posed a great challenge to me as the usher, performer, and sole proprietor of the space/object/choreography. Unfortunately I had a run in with a drunk-idiot-woman who wrecked a portion of the interior. Re-staging to be undertaken before it reopens. Not much press on my work, due to the highly limited nature of accommodations:
(1 person per performance, 17 minute musical)
Thus only 20 people had a performance of the 500-600 that were there. Anyways, I rather enjoyed that aspect of it... and the work did manage a small shout in the Art Forum: Scene and Herd

RUDY THE ENTERTAINER: (flyer[without text] from latest screening at SATOE FUKUSHIMA's
SK Iida Pop-Gallery)
NEXT SCREENING: TBA (will post when opportunity presents itself)--
If you have any type of event birthday party, anniversary party, wedding, film screening, movie night, where you want me to send RUDY THE ENTERTAINER @ MAGIC HOURS, I would be very happy to accommodate you and your company. The package, container, and it's contents all come in the form of a DVD.
There are some specifics in terms of process of screening that we can go over before it is shown. If you are interested... Just send me a comment, and we can discuss.

Moving back, forth, and all around:
Continuously and compulsively worked on these collages/drawings (below the music) for some time before and after the completion of Head Theater and Two Years Since Last Tuesday. They culminated in the formation of a musical side project, POWER BALLADZ, and this EP below. Though I believe I have worked this material dry, I thought it was worth posting anyways.
After the last, but before the first: I seem to have broken my own ordering principle. [See EDIT at top.]
Cold Cold Monday
(Second half of performance document)
The performance was constructed as perhaps an alternate dimension, parallel perspective on the inner-workings and structural underpinnings of Head Theater. Thusly it utilized some similar ideas and common forms in very different ways.
Involved:
WIG
2011
Grew my hair for two years (while working on Nude Album Songs, Head Theater, Sometimes Nothing for No One, and Two Years Since Last Tuesday--had Hollywood wigmaker turn it into a film quality wig.
Cold Cold Monday was a song originally written about the process of making WIG, but then after I initially showed WIG with Head Theater, and included it in the performance of that work, I developed another performance which utilized it as a "prop(?)";;;;; in Cold Cold Monday (the performance)
SONG ABOVE / PERFORMANCE NOTES BELOW
If I were to take apart this post and put it back together again, there would be many other and different things included, but it feels complete as a blog entity at the moment.

EDIT// I seem to have sparked a re-interest in this blog in the process of both viewing other's wonderful blogs: Dennis Cooper , and room-arrest, and also updating my own. Hope to keep up a bit more.

Music Videos
Research for a music video I am making lead me to this site...
not entirely sure what to make of it yet, but I did see a few music videos that struck me as interesting in terms of my interests on this project...
